Greater Masaka Supporters Hijack Team Chairman Executive, Begs for MK Visit

Stakeholders in greater Masaka have on Thursday hijacked the leadership of Team Chairman MK movement and asked them to bring the Presidential Advisor on Special Operations Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba to their region too.

Toyota and his executive were returning from Kabale where they attended the Rukundo Egumeho thanksgiving concert at Kigezi High School Lower Grounds in Kabale town which was also graced by Gen. Muhoozi and the former Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura.

As Toyota and his team approached Masaka on Thursday evening,mobilizers and supporters of Team Chairman led by Bashir Ssemakula ambushed them and begged the executive to meet other supporters at Hotel Brovad.

‘’We were heading to Kampala after the kigezi events and we were ambushed by the lovers of Team chairman and supporters Gen.Muhoozi. We are happy that you love Muhoozi and I promise in May we shall return here for a massive function’’, said Toyota.

Flanked by the executive members, Toyota who also donated Shs 5m to Muslims to mark Eid ul Fitr, Team chairman welcomed everybody from all political parties, religion and cultural settings and urged greater Masaka to support Gen.Muhoozi.

Toyota added that they will also continue setting structures at all levels from LCI to District, Region and sub-region.

On his part, Ssemakula assured Team Chairman Leadership that his region will lead in mobilizing for Gen.Muhoozi, urging his counterparts to embrace the MK Movement.

Another NRM Mobilizer who is also supporter of Team chairman said greater Masaka is ready to receive Gen.Muhoozi and encouraged Ugandans to always support leaders who are capable of taking the country ahead.

The Masaka mobilizers also used the opportunity to thank Toyota and his team for donating modern wheelchairs to the PWDs in Kigezi, which were handed over by Gen.Muhoozi on Wednesday.
