Tembo Steels , the Platinum Sponsor of CHADA 2025 Showcases unbeatable Innovations

Participants at the Construction and Hardware Dealers Association (CHADA) 2025 regional conference were treated to the  exciting innovations in the construction industry as a 2 decade topnotch  Tembo Steels showcased the company’s advanced processes  of Green Initiatives in Steel Making.

Held at Nyaika Hotel in Fort Portal , Tooro Sub Region in western Uganda , the CHADA 2025 regional conference attracted stakeholders in the construction sector including manufacturers, dealers , academia among others and provided a strategic platform for dialogue and collaboration to address the above challenges and unlock opportunities in the sector.

On their part , Tembo Steels Ltd showcased the latest steel innovations as Uganda’s only primary steel production provider, doing its best to avoid the impurities present in scrap-based steel.

With green steelmaking, protecting the environment becomes a priority, especially considering that steel production is currently responsible for around 10% of global carbon emissions and around 30% of emissions from industry which excited stakeholders at the conference.

Players along the building materials supply chain have pledged to work together through the Buy Uganda, Build Uganda initiative.

This commitment from the manufacturers, distributors, and the construction industry proves the determination for standards in the building materials sector.

The leadership of CHADA hailed manufacturers like Tembo for advancing the government’s agenda of import substitution.
