KCB Bank hosted the Uganda leg of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour, themed “Roar on the Green,” at the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa. The event drew golf enthusiasts from the region for an exciting day of competition.

Edgar Byamah, Managing Director of KCB Bank Uganda, praised the golfers and expressed gratitude to all participants. “Some evenings shine with more than just twilight, and tonight is one of them,” he said. “On behalf of KCB Bank Uganda, I thank all golfers who participated in today’s tournament. Your dedication to the game and the sportsmanship you displayed are highly commendable. Every participant here is a winner for helping to realise the larger purpose of this tournament.”
“The KCB East Africa Golf Tournament brings together players from across the countries where KCB operates. Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, and Burundi. Last year, Team Uganda proudly clinched victory in Kenya and was officially recognised. As an annual event, it continues to foster strong regional bonds. KCB remains the largest bank in East Africa and a trusted financial partner. We also have a KCB foundation where each of the subsidiaries contributes 1% of their gross revenue every year to support activities across entrepreneurship, education, health and environmental protection,” he added.
“I want to thank all our partners and stakeholders tonight for walking this journey with us. Let’s keep building a future where business success and environmental stewardship go hand in hand, because at the heart of everything is one simple promise: For People. For Better,” concluded Byamah.
Kenya Airways echoed the spirit of collaboration and regional growth through its continued support of the tournament. Felix Mwangangi, representing the airline, shared, “We are delighted to be part of the Golf Tour, as it provides a powerful platform for fostering community engagement and promoting regional sports tourism. In line with our commitment to supporting golfers and enhancing their travel experiences, we are offering all golf club members holding a valid membership card an exclusive 15% discount on air tickets with Kenya Airways”
