The Office of the National Chairman (ONC), under the stewardship of Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, today held a press conference at her office in Kyambogo to officially unveil a bold and transformative anti-poverty campaign scheduled for July 2nd, 2025 in Katwe, Makindye Division.

The initiative, dubbed “Abanaku Tweyambe Wealth Creation Empowerment”, is designed to boost household incomes and uplift the livelihoods of thousands of Ugandans—particularly vulnerable groups such as unemployed youth, women, the elderly, sex workers, and slum dwellers.
Speaking at the launch, Hajjat Namyalo emphasized the campaign’s practical approach to self-empowerment through direct support. The ONC will be distributing business startup kits including salon equipment, sewing machines, carpentry tools, popcorn machines, and boda boda motorcycles—tools meant to promote self-reliance and break the cycle of poverty.
