The Uganda Police Force (UPF)’s Directorate of Logistics and Engineering that handles construction, infrastructure development, and the maintenance of police facilities and equipment, including housing and vehicles commended the proprietors of Tembo Steels limited , the most diversified, integrated company in Africa for their cutting age Innovation and technology which have rapidly transformed steel production, driving towards greater sustainability, efficiency, and product quality.

Officials from the directorate who conducted a guided tour at the Tembo Steels factories in Iganga and Buikwe hailed the Tembom for their technology in hydrogen-based steelmaking, digitalization, automation, and advanced materials.
‘’These advancements are reshaping the industry, enabling new possibilities in design, construction, and manufacturing. As a directorate we are impressed with Tembo Steels for this state of the art innovation, technology, and company’s commitment towards sustainability’’, said of the senior officials.

The officials, who were welcomed by the top Managers of Tembo Steels and other factory administrators , said Tembo’s unique approach to research and production in the steel sector encourages Ugandans and the government to prioritize locally produced goods and services in their purchases.

They came to witness the spirit of innovation and excellence being championed by Ugandans building world-class steel for Uganda and Africa at large’’, tweeted Tembo steels.
