Youthful Kyamadidi Pioneers Painting Kaguta Road Yellow to Honour Museveni Leadership

Kyama Development Association , a life changing development group empowering thousands of Ugandans has unveiled a project to paint Kaguta Road yellow to honour President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his immense contribution towards the development Uganda.

The Shs 3 billion ‘road paint project’ spearheaded by Sharif Kyamadidi Namara , the chairperson of Kyama Development Association will see  modification of Kaguta road , a slip road from Lyantonde -Mbarara highway , located in Kiruhura District, which also goes Museveni’s home town Rushere.

‘’ Besides Painting the road yellow , we shall have the monuments of our beloved first family members in top leadership including President Museveni, the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni, and the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’’, said Kyamadidi.

He added that the first lady’s monument will be upraised on one of the kiosks , and President Museveni’s in the center while the one of Gen.Muhoozi will be also placed adjacent to the former.

Kyama noted that it is a good idea to set up the monuments in Rushere and paint the road yellow since it is where the president passes while heading to his country home.

‘’ We shall make sure we refurbish and reorganize the existing traders and the kiosks since it is their source of income and we need them because these are Mzee’s supporters. All kiosks will be put to the standard to prettify the area ‘’, added Kyamadidi.

He also revealed that the painting of the road to yellow will teach the young generation about President Museveni’s effort towards the social-economic transformation of Uganda.

He thanked the President for his contribution in educating the people of Uganda to go from working for the stomach only to working for the pockets, saying that now his message reached all regions of Uganda.

The fundraising ceremony for the shs 3 billion will be launched soon to enable the smooth running of the project in a timely mode.

Uganda has undergone significant changes and achievements since H.E Kaguta Yoweri Museveni took power in 1986.

Uganda’s economy has grown consistently since 1986, diversified its economy, with a focus on sectors such as agriculture, tourism, and energy, made significant progress in reducing poverty, prioritized education,improving access to healthcare, with increased investment in health facilities, equipment, and personnel and  significant strides in promoting women’s rights and gender equality.

Other achievements include significant investments in infrastructure, with the construction of new roads, bridges, and the expansion of the railway network,promotion of peace and reconciliation, with Uganda playing a leading role in regional peacekeeping and conflict resolution efforts among others.

President Museveni has over the years demonstrated outstanding leadership and impeccable commitment to improving the lives of Ugandans and the entire region.
