In a strong display of unity, faith, and community spirit, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, has officially launched the distribution of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s special Eid Al-Adha food and livestock packages to Muslim communities across the Kampala Metropolitan area.

The initiative, which kicked off today, aligns with the essence of Eid Al-Adha, a sacred Islamic holiday that honors Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and obedience to Allah. Celebrated through the ritual of animal sacrifice and acts of charity, the day emphasizes values of faith, sacrifice, and compassion.

Representing H.E. President Museveni, Hajjat Namyalo began the campaign at Kawempe Mbogo Mosque, delivering a cow and food items to the faithful. She continued to Masjid Katangawuzi in Nansana, Masjid Umea in Kikajo, Masjid Lubowa in Namamusba, and concluded the day at Masjid Taqwa in Kisenyi, Kampala Central—bringing joy and essential support to hundreds of worshippers.
