ONC Embarks on massive distribution of food packages to Muslims countrywide

In the spirit of sacrifice and generosity, the Manager of the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) has this afternoon launched a massive distribution of food packages to thousands of Muslims across the country, beginning with the Kampala Metropolitan Area.

The campaign, flagged off at the ONC offices in Kyambogo, follows the donation of hundreds of cattle and other food packages from well-wishers and supporters of President Museveni.

According to Hajjati Namayo, all the cattle will be slaughtered and the meat distributed alongside other essential food items.

The distribution exercise is set to commence tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at various mosques and Bazzukulu ba Museveni (Youths) in Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono, and surrounding areas.

The food packages will include staples such as rice, posho, spaghetti, sugar, cooking oil, and milk to ensure that Muslim families can meaningfully observe Eid Adhuha through the ritual of Qurbani and the act of sharing with the less fortunate.
