In a continued effort to celebrate new life and preserve the environment, C-Care Uganda planted 900 trees at the Bethany Land Institute in Luwero under their flagship environmental initiative, “ONE LIFE, ONE TREE: Nurturing a Greener Future at C-Care” making it over 4000 trees so far, with a target of 3,000 more by year-end. This marked another milestone in the quarterly tree planting campaign, with each tree symbolising a baby born at C-Care clinics across Uganda during the first quarter of 2025.

This tree planting activity was held in partnership with Tree Adoption Uganda and Bethany Land Institute. The event drew participation from mothers, C-Care staff, environmental activists, and community members, all united in the cause of environmental conservation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Miriam Mutero Musinga, General Manager C-Care IHK Uganda, emphasized the impact of the campaign, nurturing new life and giving back to nature; “Today we not only celebrate the beautiful babies born in our clinics but also take deliberate action to create a greener, healthier planet for them. Planting a tree for every child born is a meaningful way to honour life and protect our environment”
Janet Akuguzibwe, Project Officer at Tree Adoption Uganda, commended C-Care’s unwavering commitment to reforestation and said, “This ongoing partnership with C-Care is a shining example of how private sector actors can play a vital role in environmental conservation. Their passion for sustainable action continues to inspire us and many others.”
