Bruce Melodie has arrived in Kampala, eager to participate in tomorrow’s Kampala Comedy Club launch at La Cueva, hosted by Alex Muhangi. The Corporate event promises an exciting lineup, featuring Daniel Omara, Agnes Akite, Napoleone, Dr. Hillary, and several surprise performances. Tickets are available for 100k, with tables of 5 and 8 priced at 1.2M and 2M, respectively.
As a prominent figure in Rwanda’s music scene, Bruce Melodie, also known as Munyakazi, is considered a current leader in the industry. With a background in singing in a church choir from a young age, he released his debut song, ‘Tubivemo,’ under the album ‘Ndumiwe,’ in August 2013. His second album, ‘Ntundize,’ followed in 2014.
Bruce Melodie has established himself as a versatile performer, having entertained audiences throughout Rwanda and neighboring countries, including Uganda.
His collaborations include working with notable artists such as Urban Boyz, Queen Cha, Jay-C, Sheebah Karungi, Pallaso, B2C, Fik Fameica, and Khaligraph Jones. Craig David serves as a source of inspiration for him. Notably, Bruce Melodie made history as the first Rwandan artist to perform at Coke Studio Africa.
