For over 26 years, MTN Uganda has been at the forefront of supporting the country’s music industry. From launching legendary careers to providing innovative platforms for growth, MTN has played a pivotal role in shaping Uganda’s music story. The Tugende Mukikadde concert underscores this ongoing commitment by bringing together some of the biggest names in Ugandan music.
This year’s stellar lineup includes Joseph Mayanja, Stecia Mayanja, Haruna Mubiru, Sister Charity, Ronald Mayinja, Charles Sekyewa, Mariam Mulinde, Godfrey Kibijigiri, and Betty Mpologoma. These legendary artists have delivered timeless hits that have captured the hearts of fans across generations, and the concert will provide a nostalgic journey through their greatest musical moments.
Speaking at the press conference to announce the event, MTN Uganda’s GTM Digital Specialist, Mavis Ndagire Musungu, expressed the company’s pride in its enduring partnership with the music industry.

Ndagire emphasized that, in addition to sponsoring the event, MTN remains committed to supporting Uganda’s music industry through innovative products designed to empower artists and enhance fan experiences. Among these is the Caller Tunes service, which enables artists to monetize their music, and the MoMo Ticketing platform, a solution that ensures transparent, safe, and efficient ticketing for concert organizers and fans alike.
To make the concert accessible to a wider audience, MTN has introduced exclusive discounts on tickets purchased through the MoMo Ticketing platform. Ordinary tickets are now priced at UGX 70,000, discounted from UGX 100,000, while gold tickets are reduced to UGX 240,000 from UGX 300,000. Individual tables for eight are available at UGX 3million, and corporate tables for eight are priced at UGX 4million.
