Kaliro Vows to Support Gen.Muhoozi after Team Chairman Launches Structures

Residents of Kaliro District in Eastern Uganda have vowed to rally behind Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba , the former commander of land forces after Team Chairman MK Movement , a renowned mobilization ground, launched its structures in the District.

Team Chairman MK Movement is headed by Toyota Micheal Nuwagira ,Museveni’s young brother who has spearheaded mobilization countrywide and is remembered for organizing a record breaking birthday bash for Gen.Muhoozi at his 48^th celebrations in Kampala last year.

On Thursday, thousands of Muhoozi supporters thronged the Mayor’s gardens in Kaliro, one of the eleven districts that make up Busoga sub-region as regional leaders and Muhoozi strategists under Team Chairman launched structures.

The launch which followed a procession around Kaliro streets ,Community Service ( Bulungi Bwansi), was attended by several local and regional politicians ,civil servants, security officials among other stakeholders.

Addressing the gathering, Abel Bankuda, the Kaliro District Deputy RDC who was the chief guest hailed Team Chairman for having a strategic program for mobilization which has helped Ge.Muhoozi gain more ground .

‘’MK Movement is uniting Ugandans and your activities are transforming many lives because we follow what you do.Continue doing grass-root mobilization and we shall ensure that we support you and provide security for you as we are doing to all Ugandans’’, said Bankunda before launching the structures.

Earlier , Denis Balondemu , one of the Top Coordinators in Eastern Uganda who also hails from Busoga warned supporters and mobilizers to remain focused and be exemplary in society. He warned members from misusing the MK brand saying Muhoozi and Team chairman are stakeholders ensuring that Uganda gets a peaceful transition when time comes.

Kaliro District Local government Chairperson Mr Elaija Kagoda encouraged the district structures to focus and aim higher , he also urged mobilisers to promote peace and unity.

On his side ,Mr Mudiba Saadi , the Chairperson Busoga sub-region Team Chairman MK Movement said they will ensure that they preach the gospel of Gen.Muhoozi from all corners of Busoga and urged all stakeholders to rally behind Uganda’s first son.

Team Chairman MK Movement has in recent months launched structures in various parts of the country and established several projects that have helped transform the society within and outside Kampala .

In a message on the social media platform Twitter on Wednesday night, March 15, President Museveni’s son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, declared that he will run for the presidency in 2026.
