Mutesasira reportedly influenced the arrest of James Dagirira over the same land, leaders also talked to Mutesasira for reconciliation with  Dagirira who has a farm on the contested but in vain after Mutesasira tried to take over the land.
To get sympathy from the public and courts of the law, Mutesasira has constructed a hotel but at several times district leaders and former Rdcs Emmy Mitala and Jane Francis Kagayi who were in the middle of these matters as negotiator brought several options to see that these two parties come to understanding for equal justice and requested the two parties to divide the land for every party to benefit.
The contested land
Some residents who remain say Mutesasira forced their relatives to sell off their land without the presence of government valuer and lawyers and that Mutesasira was the one determining price for their land. Leonard Mutesasira still wants to take over people’s land, forcing them to accept the money he is giving them.
The case over this land is in courts of law . James Dagirira was the bonafide occupant by that time the lease was about to expire and the law gives any sitting tenant the first priority in such scenarios .
