Bridges & Beats Press Conference Ignites Excitement Ahead of Kampala’s Premier Francophonie Celebration

Bridges & Beats officially came to life yesterday at a vibrant press conference hosted at Alliance Française Kampala, setting the tone for what promises to be one of the most culturally immersive events of the year.

Organized by Alliance Française Kampala in partnership with Talent Africa Group, the press conference brought together members of the media, cultural stakeholders, and celebrated artists, offering a first look into the highly anticipated event scheduled for 28th March 2026 at Kingdom Kampala from 4:00 PM.

The press conference was graced by notable artists including Elijah Kitaka, Tracy Melon, and Blac Queen, alongside other performers who will take to the stage at the main event.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Loïc Boivin, the new Director of Alliance Française Kampala, emphasized the importance of cultural dialogue and collaboration, noting that Bridges & Beats reflects what Francophonie represents today — openness, creativity, and connection across cultures — and expressing pride in creating a platform where Ugandan and Francophone talent can meet, collaborate, and inspire new audiences.

Also addressing the media, Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, highlighted the experiential vision behind the event, stating that the group continues to evolve how audiences experience culture and that Bridges & Beats is not just an event but a fusion of music, art, conversation, and lifestyle designed to be bold, immersive, and unforgettable for Kampala.

Bridges & Beats will feature a carefully curated program that blends entertainment and cultural expression, including live music performances showcasing a fusion of Ugandan and Francophone sounds, DJ sets, and dynamic stage experiences. The event will transform Kingdom Kampala into a vibrant hub of music, culture, and connection.
