The Government of Uganda, through the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development (MLHUD) has honored Swift RentPay Ltd , a leading Ugandan firm providing all major property management software and utility multiple payment options in the real estate sector.

Swift RentPay , which automates rent collection, manage tenants, and grows businesses was recognized during the closure of the first edition of the Uganda Real Estate & Housing Expo (UREHE) 2025, a landmark event for the Ugandan real estate and housing sector, which happened from September 26-28, 2025, at the Kati Kati Grounds, Lugogo, Kampala.
Handing over the certificate of recognition to SwiftRentPay officials, Mr. Dave Khayangayanga the Acting Director Housing Directorate at the Ministry of lands commended the company for innovating RentPay , a platform designed to help landlords manage rental income with automation, transparency, and up to 95% predictability.
Speaking to journalists after receiving the award, Hussein Kakooza, one of the managers at Swift RentPay said Tenants can pay rent using all major payment methods in Uganda, including MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, FlexiPay, and local bank transfers.
‘’RentPay makes rental income more predictable, provides real-time tracking, and ensures secure, transparent payments—giving landlords peace of mind, according to officials’’, said Hussein.
Headquartered at Plot 15A, Ntinda – Nakawa road, in Uganda;s Capital Kampala, the automated platform helps landlords with one or many properties to track income, manage tenants, and simplify payments all in one place.
Organized by the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development in partnership with Douglas Events Ltd together with other key organizations, the expo’s theme was “Resilient by Design, Affordable by Intent: Shaping the Future of Real Estate”.
