Kira Municipality NRM Flag Bearer Kananura rallies youth on wealth creation, urged to avoid bad Politics

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Kira Municipality who doubles as the area Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) coordinator Hon. Daniel Kananura has rallied youth from Kira to get engaged in wealth creation activities that will help them fight poverty.

Kananura, while meeting hundreds of youths in Kira Municipality on Tuesday , said young people need to have something to occupy their minds as that will keep them busy and from unruly activities especially being used by selfish leaders , which he said ruins their future.

“I am glad that you’re here and we are engaging in what takes you forward so inform others that are not here that  you need to get involved in NRM party activities and engage in productive work. I also advise you to stop being used by selfish politicians who just want to use you for their personal gains. It’s better to work and you develop yourself, the family because the government has created a lot of programs and peace which we can be able to benefit from’’, Kananura said.

Kananura said President Museveni has done a lot for this country and deserves  support, especially from young people to secure their future and consolidate NRM gains.

“What I want to emphasize is that if you want to help your people, the starting point is homestead incomes. Concentrate on home. If homes change, everything will change,” Kananura said.

He urged youths to desist from this habit of being used as inflictors of violence during run up to elections as this will affect their future.

The  youth who commended Kananura for emerging the NRM flag bearer , were grateful to the President for the achievements in the past  years and promised to ensure they canvass votes for all party flag bearers in the forthcoming election.
