Speaking during a mobilisation drive in Makindye, Namyalo urged residents to remain focused on leaders with a proven track record, warning them against being misled by rival political actors.

“Ugandans should not waste their votes on people who disappear after elections. Vote wisely and support President Museveni,” Namyalo said.

She also educated voters on the voting process, emphasising the importance of correctly identifying President Museveni on the ballot paper.

“On the ballot paper, President Museveni will appear at position number eight and will be represented by the bus symbol. That is what you should look out for,” she explained.

Namyalo’s mobilisation activities began in Katwe 2, Kikaramojja, where she addressed a rally of NRM supporters.

She was warmly received by residents and ghetto youth, who cheered, blew whistles, and chanted slogans in support of President Museveni as vehicles carrying NRM campaign messages moved through the area.

Addressing residents in Katwe Kikaramojja, Namyalo urged them to turn up in large numbers on polling day.

“Do not waste your vote. Come out in big numbers and vote for President Museveni,” she told the crowd.

She warned residents against political distractions, saying, “Do not be confused or diverted by people who want to mislead you.”

The NRM mobiliser later extended her campaign to Katwe Kinyoro, Salaama Road, and other parts of Makindye Division, continuing to drum up support for the ruling party and its candidates.

Throughout her tour, Namyalo highlighted what she described as Uganda’s socio-economic transformation under President Museveni’s leadership, urging residents to reflect on his record when casting their votes.

“Under President Museveni’s leadership, Uganda has achieved major socio-economic transformations,” she said.

She further emphasised the need for voters to follow proper voting procedures to avoid invalid ballots.

“Remain focused on polling day and avoid confusion,” Namyalo advised.

In addition to electoral mobilisation, Namyalo encouraged residents to actively participate in government development programmes, urging them to register in time to benefit from available initiatives.

“Register early so that you can benefit from government programmes,” she said.

She also rallied residents to support other NRM candidates on the party ticket, saying they are better positioned to deliver services and address community needs.

“Support NRM candidates because they are well placed to serve you and ensure effective service delivery,” Namyalo added.

The mobilisation drive in Makindye Division forms part of the NRM’s broader nationwide campaign aimed at consolidating grassroots support ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
