Tuko Pamoja: Nkuusa Confident the PLU Mobilization Team will boost Museveni Support base ahead 2026

Ambassador Francis Nkuusa, the principal mobiliser of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) in the Diaspora, and staunch NRM promoter has commended the National Vice Chairman of PLU Michael Nuwagira, also known as Toyota, for establishing ‘ Tuko Pamoja’ , a mobilisation team that will reinforce National Resistance Movement (NRM)’s efforts achieving success in the forthcoming 2026 polls.

Nkuusa who will be jetting into the country soon to join the campaign trail and boost NRM support across the country, says as Diaspora team, they are confident in PLU and Nuwagira mobilization efforts that they will deliver President Yoweri Museveni back to state house come 2026.

In his letter issued this week , Nuwagira revealed that PLU through the formation Tuko Pamoja, will commission regional mobilizers across the country to who will be key players in combing support for President Museveni and NRM flag bearers nationwide.

Nkuusa, on behalf of the diaspora team expressed their unwavering dedication to working alongside the PLU secretariat, aligning their strategies to mobilize the diaspora and rally support for President Museveni.

NRM and PLU recently officially united to intensify campaign efforts in support of President Museveni as he seeks another term ahead of  the 2026 General Election.

Toyota said that the survival and strength of the party depend on unity and it is their responsibility to ensure that NRM  continues shining, but the only way to achieve this is by campaigning for NRM and President Museveni wherever they go.

Nkuusa and other Ugandans in North America have over the years embarked on efforts to clean the image of Uganda that has been damaged by unpatriotic actors with aims other than the unity and progress of Uganda.

They have been preaching messages that encourage patriotism –true love for the country-aware that they will never have a country to call home in the true sense of the word like Uganda.

Nkuusa and his group in the diaspora act as an avenue for the transfer of new skills and knowledge and they are promoters of foreign direct investment, trade and the transfer of technology. They are promoters of tourism, research, innovation, investment and the country’s interests.
