Luanda, October 2, 2025 – The Ministry of the Environment, through the National Waste Agency (ANR), will host the 4th Edition of Expo Recicla from October 24 to 25, under the theme “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for a More Sustainable Angola.”

More than just a fair, Expo Recicla stands as a national platform for dialogue, education, and social mobilization, reinforcing Angola’s commitment to implementing sustainable environmental policies, aligned with the international commitments undertaken by the country.
In recent years, Angola has taken firm steps in promoting the circular economy and in implementing policies aimed at reducing its carbon footprint. As a signatory of the Paris Agreement and committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda,
Angola has defined as priorities:
-
Increasing the rate of recovery and valorization of urban solid waste;
-
Promoting the efficient use of natural resources through reduction, reuse and recycling;
– Strengthening environmental education and awareness as key instruments to transform behaviors.
In this context, Expo Recicla 2025 emerges as a strategic milestone to consolidate the vision of a resilient, green, and sustainable Angola, where government, companies, civil society, and citizens assume responsibility for environmental protection.
