Travellers at Namayiba Bus Park were treated to a delightful surprise on Thursday 22 May 2025, as Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda brought joy and refreshment to passengers through its ongoing “Share a Coke” campaign.

As part of the activation, Coca-Cola shared personalized soda bottles with passengers boarding various buses, including those headed to Kenya, Gulu, Juba, and Somalia. Buses operated by Bebeto and other companies participated in the initiative.
The campaign, which features bottles labeled with popular Ugandan names, sparked widespread excitement among travellers, many of whom were visibly thrilled to find their own names or those of loved ones on the bottles.
“The moment someone received a bottle, their face lit up with a smile,” said Ajala Joel, one of the passengers.
“My neighbor received a bottle labeled ‘Ronah’ and said it felt like getting a message from her sister. It was beautiful.”
Jimmy Ogwal, General Manager of Mega Buses at Namayiba Bus Park, praised the initiative, calling it a heartfelt surprise for their customers.
