Charis Bible College graduates urged to follow Jesus’ example

Charis Bible College (CBC) held a graduation ceremony on November 9^th  at the Worship Harvest Ministries (WHM)-Naalya  in Kira Municipality, celebrating the achievements of a large number of students who completed their studies this year. It was a joyful event, filled with gratitude and hope, as students from various programmes were honoured for their dedication and commitment.

Junaid Esau a director at Andrew Wommack Ministries (AWM) /Charis urged students who graduated at Charis Bible College (CBC) in Kampala to fully embrace the great commission and be disciples of all nations wherever God sends them.

Charis Bible College is an extension of Andrew Wommack Ministries, founded by world-renowned USA-based televangelist Andrew Wommack.

 “Discipling nations go beyond discipling people. Jesus said go ye therefore and make disciples of the nation but not in the nation,” he stated.

He applauded the graduates for going through the preparation process for the gospel of the kingdom.

He said the graduates are now trained disciples ready to go out and share the Gospel with the rest of the world in the way God has uniquely called each individual to do it.

Geoge William Mugabi , the Bishop at God’s Holy Assembly ,said that they were called to serve God not by choice but God,  adding that they were called to glorify and honour God through their services.  He then called upon the graduates to be the bearers of the gospel and to live life worthy of the calling.

Students were asked not to take a vacation from the word of God but to continue diligently reading it.

“College is not the end of the bible. Just because you graduated from a bible college does not mean you don’t read the bible. You have to continue being consistent in the word of God,” added Bishop Mugabi.

Bishop Mugabi said: “I want to thank Andrew Wommack for responding to the voice of God to start Charis Bible College. There is something we have received from God from here at Charis and it’s for the nations, the world.”

Ms Racheal Nairuba Keeya, one of the graduates said; “This is more than just an academic milestone. It is a testament to God’s work in the lives of our students, equipping them to serve and lead in their communities with the message of the gospel.”
