Bugiri District, one of the eleven districts that make up Busoga sub-region on Friday overwhelmingly welcomed Team Chairman MK Movement as the group launched its structures.
At National level, Team Chairman is headed by Toyota Micheal Nuwagira, and other executive members who have since last year traversed the country mobilizing for Gen.Muhoozo Kainerugaba through recruitment, and projects empowering communities.
The Friday Bugiri event was presided over by security, religious and cultural leaders, business community, local and regional leaders.
Kasiira Abdul , the Bugiri District coordinator for Team Chairman MK Movement pledged to promote the group’s ideology and also ensure that members serve properly in their respective capacities.
At the event attended by Said Kagere , the NRM Chairperson for Bugiri Municipality ,Edrin Benesa the RCC for Soroti City East and Badru Naminya, the Chairperson Busowa town council was filled with calls for unity , respect and being focused among the members.

Denis Balondemu, the regional coordinator for Team Chairman thanked Chairman Toyota for being visionary and spearheading a campaign which focuses not only on peaceful transition, but also promoting the social –economic transformation of Ugandans.

Balondemu emphasized that the group is not against the government and any legal establishment, but it promotes government programs like wealth creation and household income, fights corruption and also advocates for a peaceful transition with Gen.Muhoozi being the possible successor of President Museveni when time comes.
Robert Kyakuva Josua, the Busoga Spokesperson Team Chairman MK Movement earlier explained the goal and objectives of the group and urged members to become ambassadors for the good gospel.
Busoga regional Team chairman Mk movement chairperson Hajji Mudiba Saadi uttered appreciation for the support Busoga is rendering to Gen.Muhoozi and Team Chairman.
Busoga sub-region comprises eleven districts; Kamuli, Iganga, Bugiri, Mayuge, Jinja, Luuka, and the new districts of Bugweri, Buyende, Kaliro,Namutumba and Namayingo District. Under Team Chairman, each district is headed by the Coordinator and his executive members, who are supervised by the regional coordinators.
