Elite High School Entebbe Dominates UACE 2025 with Candidates Scoring Maximum 20 Points
Academic giant , Elite High School Entebbe has once again proved to be one of the best Secondary Schools in Uganda after excelling in the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations just as has been the case in the previous years since it started.
Elite High School recorded impressive results in the 2025 UACE results, with a big number of its candidates attaining the best results and requirement for university admission, placing it among the 50 best schools in the whole country.
According to the school Headteacher, Mr. Onyango Lawrence, the strong performance was a result of the collective efforts of parents, teachers, and students.
Onyango noted that among the candidates who scored 20 points include; Mafumbo Benard (PCM/ICT) and Nambassa Violah (BCM/ICT) while Alenyo Allen Jazirah(EENTM/ICT), Arinda Ethan Kalungi (EENTM/ICT) , Nambejja Winnie (LENTI/ICT) and Mal Mary Ring (HED/ICT) got 18 points.
Nakato Elizabeth (HEL/S.MTC), Nakibirango Leah(HEL/ICT) , and Nsubika Andrew(BCM/ICT) scored 17 points.
Onyango, who attributed the success to strong teaching and commitment from the learners , noted that the school remains committed to supporting all learners for excellent academic performance.
He said the school continues to distinguish itself as a centre of excellence, particularly in science education.

The First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni, officially released the 2025 UACE examination results at State House, Nakasero on Friday March 13 2026.
A total of 166,400 candidates registered for the 2025 UACE examination, compared to 141,996 candidates in 2024, representing an increase of 24,404 candidates [17.2 percent]. Of those registered:72,764 were female while 93,636 were male.
The number of candidates who actually sat the examinations was 165,172, up from 140,884 in 2024, reflecting the same 17.2 percent increase. Among those who sat the examinations, 72,374 were females while 92,798 were males.
The 2025 UACE results pave the way for thousands of successful candidates to proceed to universities and other institutions of higher learning across the country.
