The premier attributed reported gaps in service delivery in Wakiso district to lack of cooperation from opposition leaders, whom she accused of neglecting their responsibility to channel concerns to government offices.

“Wakiso has been led by members of the opposition who fail to report gaps affecting the people. They only appear on the media to demean the NRM government but do not channel issues to responsible offices where we could resolve them”. Nabbanja reiterated.

She stressed that Wakiso’s closeness to the capital city makes it a strategic hub for accelerated development, yet the district continues to lag because of what she described as weak leadership and poor utilization of government resources.

Nabbanja on this note calls upon residents to vote out opposition leaders for effective service delivery.

The Mobilisation drive was attended by Kiwanda Godfrey chairman of the National Consultative Forum, RDC Wakiso district Justice Mbabazi and her Deputies, a cross section of flag bearers and hundreds of NRM supporters from all walks of life.

On Sunday 14th September 2025 , the Premier will hold a similar public rally at Wakiso playground involving residents of Busiro East and Nansana Municipality.
